So sorry to hear about the passing of Thomas. My condolences to Tom, Janelle, and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace.

I had Mr Winkhart as Summer drivers ed teacher in the early 70s. I have never forgotten him!

I met Tom in the center of Perry High's football field in 1978 immediately after our annual scrimmage with the Panthers.....he attempted to steel me away from Central Catholic and obviously, I felt he was special. When he called on me and my father to build his new home, I must say, I was truly honored and grateful for the opportunity but mostly for the short friendship that ensued. We never spoke after completion of the house beyond the occasional "bump into", which always required...

I am from Sandy Valley H.S. and a few classes with Mr. Winkhart.. He was very well liked & we all missed him when he left S.V. R.I.P. Mr. Winkhart & God Bless your family at this very sad time.
