Not sure what to say?

Tim was my baby brother and I will always think of him as such. He is the baby in the photo. Our summers were spent at the beach in Capitola. I gave Tim his first surfboard when he was about seven years old. Thank you to all who sent memories of my brother. I am the little girl standing next to my Aunt Shirley and Tim is in the inner tube. Our father, standing in back of Tim, had us in the ocean as babies, and that is how Tim became a waterman.

Tim, you have a big heart! You were an important part of this kids early days...playing in Hardiman´s garage, on the blacktop at SBS...practicing in the church hall...the teenage fair at the Cow Palace (thanks Bev). Always a friend and never a snob, you had time for all of us and gave your star power to the band. You´re missed but never forgotten! Still playing after all these years!

What a beautiful human being. Always consistent with his openness. Today thy a part of history is gone is an understatement for all of us who surfed with him. Forever in my heart Tim.

It was a joy to always see Tim with his smile and fun personality. Known the Pearce family for about 20 years and have ALWAYS admired their love for each other. Tim´s humility and giving nature is something I will never forget. A great man, husband and father. Love and peace to Sara, Sonny and India. RIP Tim. Konrad Habelt

Tim was a good friend. Between the surf trips and surfing at Ocean Beach and Santa Cruz, we had many great memories. The trips to The Ranch were especially fun. Watching Sonny and Sean play baseball together at SH provided time for more good conversations. We all lost a good person. My sincere condolences to Sarah, Sonny and India.

I lived up the street on Merced Ave and went to Lincoln HS too. Tim and I surfed a lot together during high school. I remember once I was invited to spend the weekend at the Capitola Beach house with Tim and his parents. I had such a wonderful time with them all and of course surfing Capitola. One night while staying in Capitola Tim´s parents drove to the movie theater in the Village and saw "Easy Rider". The movie had just been released. What a movie! Though I really didn´t grasp what was...

I can´t imagine how difficult this time must be for the family. Tim , what I knew of him was epitome of term "Nice guy " He Loved adventure and I was always happy to hear a good story from him at Parties ... I loved the shark tattoo On his left ? Calf ! Where a shark bit him !! Sarah was reading on beach ? Setting , Tonga? He managed to swim in to shore and quietly told Sarah matter of factly " I was just bite by a shark ", she looks up, ocean full of...

One of my favorite friends to get me stoked to go out and surf with. I've already missed seeing you for 10 years...guess it'll be a little longer now. Until we meet again.
