Not sure what to say?

Mr. Downey was my teacher in 6th grade at Palm Middle. He was one of the best teachers I ever had, and loved it so much when he would bring in his guitar and play music. I fondly think about him whenever I hear the song Rockin' Robin. He will be fondly remembered by me and my family.

He was an amazing teacher. I loved music days at the multi-purpose room. He made school awesome.

Single Memorial Tree

Tim was my 5th grade teacher at Northridge Elementary. He taught me about hard work, my love for music, and how to be a good person. He inspired me to become a teacher myself and was my mentor during my time student teaching. My condolences to his family and I hope he's resting in peace.

I love Mr. Downey. My son learned to love the Beatles by listening to him playing the guitar! God bless his soul!

So sorry to hear about Mr. Downey's passing. He taught both our children at North Ridge and made a huge difference in their life! Especially in our son, Kevin's life, by introducing to music and playing the guitar! Thank you, Tim! Fondly, The Mortons

I am truly heartbroken at the news of Mr. Downey’s passing. My sister and I both were taught by him at North Ridge many years ago. His passion for music and teaching made all the difference in our education and really stuck with us after leaving his classroom. 8 days a week holds a special place in my heart because of those classroom sing alongs. I offer my most sincere condolences to the family. God Bless.

We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Downey's passing. He was both of our sons 5th grade teacher and our relationship extended way past the classroom. Tim became a friend during our time at Northridge and we kept in contact for years to come. He was so passionate about his students and always had such a positive attitude and made a lasting impression on our sons. It was teachers like him who inspired one of our sons to become a teacher himself. Tim attended many milestone events in our lives...
