Not sure what to say?

Tim will be sorely missed by all in the Dept of Politics and Government at Illinois State. He was a wonderful colleague and friend, and we will remember him fondly. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Tim was such a kind person, always willing to help with a tech issue or just to ask how one was doing. My son (Sam) went to ISU and hung around my office or lab a lot, and also remembers him fondly and wants to express his condolences to his loved ones.

The memory of Tim's sly smile paired with that twinkle in his eye is bringing a smile to my own face as I think about him. He was a friend and colleague. He once asked my son to dog sit Milo and then asked me what types of snacks my son liked so that he would have something at his house for him to eat. Tim was such a joy to work with. He was always so eager to help and could solve any problem in a matter of minutes! We shared a love of the outdoors, travel, and our dogs and I enjoyed our lengthy chats about those topics. He is deeply missed. Sending love and comfort to his family and friends at this difficult time.

I want to extend my condolences to Tim's family and friends. Tim was a great help to me at Illinois State where I taught history. My calls or emails were invariably met with a quick response and competent assistance. But what I remember more than the help Tim provided was his friendliness, good humor and sense of fun. Tim seemed to enjoy helping people like me were a little older and less tech savvy than most of our colleagues. Within the history department Tim was appreciated as a consummate...

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I remember Tim´s fun spirit and laughter in college. I am a better person for knowing him and still occasionally treat myself to the banana with nutella snack he introduced to me. He will not be forgotten. May memories of him bring comfort during this tough time.

Oh Tim! So many memories we made and I can't pick the best one to share. There is a hole in my heart because of you. I will miss you forever.
