At age17 years in August 1975, I was hired by Safeway in Monroe to box groceries and work the backroom. Then I was assigned to clean the butcher shop (meat room). My instructor was Tim (21at the time). He also became my friend and someone to look up to (not in stature alone). A year and a half later I moved on, partly because of his advice. When we moved to the Dubuque Road Tim was riding around on a Sting Ray bike. It wasn't long before it was motorcycles and cars. His first car was yellow. I think it was a Nova. I can picture it in my mind. I often got rides to school with him as he stopped, seeing me waiting for the school bus. Music engulfed the air from his 8-track player. Tim was fun-loving and a big kidder. I hold dear memories of him and his family and he is thought of on this day with love. Rest in peace old...

So shocked to here about Tim's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. Tim was a big man with a big heart. I will always remember the times we spent together with Peggy and family. He will be missed dearly.
