On Monday January 3, 2023, Tim Marzolf, loving Husband, father and Grandpa unexpectedly passed away at the age of 69.
He was born November 17, 1953 to John and Marilyn Marzolf, fourth of six sons. He was raised in the Machias area and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1972. In 1979 he married Peggy Krause and they moved to Stanwood where they raised their family. For eleven years he ran Tim's Custom Slaughtering and enjoyed running his own business, the hard work and the barnyard banter. He next worked many years as a meat manager for the Thrift Foods Grocery Chain. He loved the meat trade and in retirement he continued to cure and smoke meat treats.
Tim loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed family dinners and teasing grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman. He hunted and fished all of his life and looked forward to Hunt camp and fishing with his buddies.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents John and Marilyn and brothers, John and David.
He is survived by his wife Peggy, his children, Krissy, Tonya, and Zach (Chelsey) and his treasured grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lily, Ryder and Milo, his Brothers, Bart, Mark(Kathy) and Don(Debbie) and many other close relatives.
You may be gone Tim but you're not forgotten. We love you always.
A memorial service will be held on February 11, 2023 at 2 o'clock at Swans Trail Farm. 7301 Rivershore Rd., Snohomish WA 98290.

At age17 years in August 1975, I was hired by Safeway in Monroe to box groceries and work the backroom. Then I was assigned to clean the butcher shop (meat room). My instructor was Tim (21at the time). He also became my friend and someone to look up to (not in stature alone). A year and a half later I moved on, partly because of his advice. He was very influential and left a mark on me. The memorial at the farm showed the affect and love he had on everyone and vice versa.
May he rest in Peace . My condolences to the family.

When we moved to the Dubuque Road Tim was riding around on a Sting Ray bike. It wasn't long before it was motorcycles and cars. His first car was yellow. I think it was a Nova. I can picture it in my mind. I often got rides to school with him as he stopped, seeing me waiting for the school bus. Music engulfed the air from his 8-track player. Tim was fun-loving and a big kidder. I hold dear memories of him and his family and he is thought of on this day with love. Rest in peace old friend! My sincere condolences to all his lived ones.
