Tim was great friend, a wealth of knowledge. Tim worked with me for a few years as he was winding down. He was a fighter, a great husband and a great Dad. I miss he and think about him every day.

Tim inspected our first house we bought last year. He was always there to help answer our questions even after his work was done. He was a great guy and will be missed.

Dear Sheila and family;
I just learned of your husband's passing (and father) and I'm so very sorry. What an absolutely wonderful obit describing his life and person. My thoughts are with you, especially in this season. Sincerely,
Brenda Cave-James

Sean, Ryan, Katy and Sheila,

I am so sorry to hear of Tim's passing, although I am glad to know he is no longer suffering as he was and is in a much better place now. I extend my condolences to the entire McGovern family during this difficult time.

Sheila and family sorry for your loss worked with tim at Freihofer's and been to syracuse football games when they played miami and been to Kellys after he was done blowing I will miss his jokes and humor he will be missed.

We have such fond memories of Tim, beginning in West Corners' Baseball. We are so appreciative of all the time and energy he gave to the community, especially the youth, even when he was ill himself.

We will always remember him leading the Sertoma club to help set up the tents for our annual ALS walk. Always giving, always kind.

Our sincere sympathy to your family. He will be missed.

Sheila, Pat and I are deeply sad about Tim's death at such a young age, and thought he could beat this canser. Tim was such a strong person willing to help others such as myself along with his best friend and mine Jay Cahill when I had a near death accident 22 years ago. sincerely Jay and Pat Witter
