Tim was a great friend and I will miss him very much. We became fast friends through apprienticeship school and I often sought his opinion on school work and career decisions. Waiting for class to start this upcoming year will not be the same without him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Brit and Kirstin here is the Eulogy I gave remembering Tim:
Tim is defined not just by who he was but who he wasn’t. He wasn’t that guy who was the center of every party with the latest joke. If you wanted to know Tim then you needed to find him sitting off to the side in quiet conversation with someone. Usually he had a micro brewed beer – which he wanted in a glass please.
Tim was an athlete. He loved to play golf and he loved the water. To see Tim on water ski’s was really something. He could ski with one or two ski’s and he passed this love of sports and his natural grace to Brit – her waterskiing skills as well as her skill on the soccer field is a reflection of Tim’s athletic ability.
Tim was a great friend. Tim got a call early one Sunday morning from his friends Ed, John and Ted asking for ride since they had rolled the truck they were in. Tim got in his car and drove 250 miles to WVA and picked them up. When he got there his only comment was “you guys really owe me one”.
We all know about owing Tim one. Tim was not the guy who ever collected – he was the guy everyone else owed. He was comfortable doing for others but not always comfortable about getting return favors.
He came over to my house one day to return a favor. He was going to install an electrical outlet on my deck for a fountain. When he was finished I had multiple outlets with special covers. I said hey Tim I only expected one outlet. He replied well you need an outlet on the other side to run your weed-wacker. Needless to say he wanted to be sure that he returned the favor and then some.
When you think of Tim you don’t normally think of a risk taker. However, after spending many years in one career he decided to change careers and become an apprentice electrician. In typical Tim style he would spend hours studying for classes, working full time, and even working side jobs. He never complained and even with this hectic schedule he was very proud that he was in the top two of his class.
The last time we talked he proudly told me that he had been working 60 hour work weeks to save up for Brit’s college. He said he was putting in so much overtime that he slept in his vehicle between shifts because his latest job was so far from home.
Never have I seen someone want something so much as Tim wanted his journeyman’s license. Even in the hospital he would talk about how he looked forward to going back to work and getting his journeyman’s license.
Tim is that guy who when he wants something he is not afraid to work for it. Against tough odds, long hours, and personal sacrifice. Kirstain likes to tell the story of how she and Tim got together. They were friends hanging out in the same crowd but seeing different people. Kirstain said she went out with Tim because she wanted to make her current squeeze jealous. Tim however saw something he wanted and quietly went about getting it. Kirstain you never stood a chance against Tim’s determination.
Tim is that guy that we all should try to emulate. He is that guy who did not look for the quick fix or the easy way. He is the guy who worked hard to support his family, who knew that anything worth having was worth working for, and he is that guy who loved his women.
In the final hours he had all the women who loved him (Kirstain, Brit, His Mom, His Sister, Katrina, and others) with him. Tim we love you – we miss you – and we will try to be more like you.

I am deeply sadden to hear about Tim's passing. I will miss him very much and remember the good times. Tim was always one to offer to help out when he could. I know at this time we all wonder why and say it isn't fair, but the lord must have a more special purpose for Tim. He will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Kirstin and Brittany.
