Not sure what to say?

I fondly remember Mr. Scanlon at Golden State Jr. High. He was one of the few teachers there that made learning fun. He truly cared about the children whose lives he touched. His legacy will live on in all of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family, and all whose lives were made just a little brighter because he passed their way.

Shocked and sadened at the death of our cousin Tim, a real gentleman, a man you would sit down and talk with, and never ask to get up,I met him three times in all , and from the first time we met , i felt we had known each other for years, so considerate, so gentle,so thoughtfull,he really would have loved to have the whole Scanlon clan meet every couple of years, i hope in the future as a momento to Tim we might be able to have a family reunion, the family is so scattered it will be a big...

Mr. Scanlon always had a smile on his face and an infectious laugh. He was never afraid to laugh at himself. When I was transferred to Kern Ave. School has called me to tell me how thrilled he was. That special feeling has always made me happy. I loved working on his teaching staff.

Mr. Scanlon was part of the University of La Verne family. He was an exceptional student teacher supervisor. I had the pleasure of working with him as a professional and I could not get past calling him Mr. Scanlon. In my eyes, he was always my Kern Avenue Principal - Mr. Scanlon. He would say, "you can call me Tim." He was a very sweet person.

The University of La Verne sends the family our condolences.

My Condolences go out to Mr. Scanlons family. He was a good man. I got to know him while he work at McFarland High school for a short time. He would tell us some funny stories about his life and a funny joke now and then. May god bless you Mr. Scanlon. We'll miss your visits here at McFarland High School.

My sincere regrets to hear of the passing of an old friend and hiking/fishing buddy and a Veteran

Cousin Tim, I am glad I got to spend some time with you and son Tim and show you Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta several years ago. Condolences to the family.

Mr.Scanlon, rest in peace, Mcfarland will miss you very much.

I was blessed to have Tim in my parish. He was a faithful man who lived out his beliefs. He loved his children and grandchildren and, as one can tell from the words of those who have written in, he loved his students.
Tim, may you enjoy a beautiful Christmas in Heaven!
