I remember Tim and his brother, Michael. I want to honor them both with prayers of musical grace and spiritual honor which seem appropriate during this sad time. I will always remember their love and joy and amazing musical contributions. I hope the family will find some peace in that fact and feel love and support from us all.

Tim was a great friend of mine. I loved his banter, his humor, his incredible love and deep understanding of literature, traits he shared with his late brother, Mike. On a snowy vacation in Meadville years ago, Tim and Mike conferred upon me the status of being an "honorary member of the Smith family." This honor has been a source of pride for more than 40 years. I will never forget the great times we had on Park Avenue in the late 70's upstairs in Tim's room with Ralph & Kevin listening to Tim play guitar, marveling over the album "Masque" by Kansas, and just hanging out.
