I want the whole Volentine family to know that we will all miss Tim. He was a very good friend to my father. He was always there when dad needed a ride or just someone to talk to when we were not able to be there. I appreciated everything he did for my dad. He will be missed tremendously. God be with all of you.

I was browsing the Omaha paper online and found out that I just lost a cousin. I just wanted to let the Volentine family know that I am so terribly sorry about Tim. And to let you all know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tim was my best friend in high school. We shared experiences that would bind us together for a lifetime. He was a strong, kind, and gentle person who had a good heart. Even then.

Then he went into the service and I lost track of him for 30 years. I often thought about him and wondered if we would ever cross paths again.

A few months ago we ran into each other and it was like finding a long lost brother. It felt like suddenly a huge hole in my soul, one that had been void...
