She gave so much joy and will be missed

Ms. Tina Hicks was an awesome anchor at 13WMAZ. I enjoyed seeing and listening to her nightly for years. I had the pleasure of meeting her and sharing with her how much I admired her work at 13WMAZ. She was very humble, kind and personable. I felt as though I had known her for a long time. I will never forget her smile and the calmness with which she spoke to me on the day that I met her. She was truly an icon!

Miss Tina was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was THE BEST news anchor on 13WMAZ. She will be terribly missed. My deepest condolences to her family.

I am so saddened about the death of Tina Hicks. She was a true icon 4 WMAZ TV. We shared the same birthday maybe that is why I always felt she was more like family than a newscaster. It saddens my heart so much to know that we'd lost such a wonderful woman. No one after her it could ever take her place on the news desk. She did not just deliver the news she did it with her heart. So sorry for your family loss always loved watching you on news. you will be missed by many.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Thank you for bringing us the evening news. Peace & Comfort to your family during their time of sorrow.

Early on I have known you as a client while rendering hair services, and as a neighbor before you were married. Also, I was your mother’s and grandmother’s beautician. You were all beautiful ladies with loving personalities and are greatly missed. You always had that infectious smile that captivated the hearts of many whom you came in contact. I enjoyed watching you broadcast the news every afternoon, of which you did an excellent job.
RIP Tina

My condolences
