SALT OF THE EARTH, AN AURA OF MYSTERY & LIGHT WITHIN & WITHOUT THE BING MALONEY FACILITY. MY FOND MEMORIES OF THE PRO IN FRONT OF THE DESK BEHIND THE PICTURE WINDOW INSIDE THE CLUBHOUSE ARE TRULY VIVID TO THIS DAY. IT COMES TO ME THAT DURING HIGH SCHOOL @ MCCLATCHY IN 1970, HE PERSONNIFIED GRACE, DIGNITY & STYLE. Tom gave me my first job at Bing Maloney at the age of 17. He was a very kind man who always found time for everyone. During winter rainy days he sitting in his famous shop barber chair we often spent hours talking about many things. He gave me a great deal of responsibility, and trust at an early age. Through the years I have reministed about those fond times we shared together. My heart felt condolences to his family. Thank You Tom.

Tom was my grandfathers best friend. Because of this I got to grow up with "Uncle" Tom. What a sweet soul he was. He taught me to golf when I was a little girl and along with that came advice about life. He wrote a letter of recommendation when I applied to college. He was family to us. When my grandfather passed 5 years ago, he was devastated. I just hope him and my grandfather, Dale are in heaven with a bud light, Tom chain smoking, throwing out dirty words while playing golf.
