Russell Thomas “Tom” Hayes, III, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the age of 81. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Russell, Jr. and Dorothy Jean (McClellen) Hayes. Preceded in death by his devoted wife, Stefani (Dine) Hayes.
Survived by his daughters, Tori Hayes and Marcie Moore; sister, Beverly (Vince) Guercio; grandchildren, Nina, Taylor, and Ryan (Ashlee); great grandchildren, Hayden and Beckett; niece, Katie, and her children Ella and Lucas; nephew, Michael, and his children Ava, Michael, and Mallory; among other extended family and dear friends.
Tom graduated from the University of Cincinnati. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and maintained his deep-rooted patriotism. His politics were conservative, and he loved following FOX News. He was passionate about many interests, was naturally curious, and blessed with his witty sense of humor.
Prior to his retirement at age 75, he built his career in sales and marketing working for Indolore and Morton and accepted previous positions located in Akron and Chicago. He traveled the world during his career and even spent time working in Africa.
Visitation will begin at 11 AM until 12 PM on Saturday, March 16th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Graveside military honors will conclude the visitation at 12:00 Noon on the grounds at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.mrfh.com
