When Tony was singing with Guy Finley they hired me to be their drummer and to recruit the band I was currently playing with back in the early 70's while signed to Motown as the first white act on that label.Bob Gaudio was our musical producer and I think we only did one gig together as I recall. I was devastated to learn of Tony's death last year. He was talented and a terrific person. I'm sorry we have been out of touch for a long time. But my feelings remain. I will remember the good times. I hope you are doing well and I offer my most sincere condolences.

Liv, my story is the same-I didnt realize that Tony jr. passed until ready his dad's obit today. I was actually hoping to catch up with him soon until I heard this.

Hi, Liv: I was an old friend of Tony's decades ago, and was saddened to realize on reading his dad's obit today, that he had passed. I forwarded to news to mutual friends in the UK (we'd met him through Graham Chapman) who I am sure will be equally moved.
