Not sure what to say?

Coach, you were a great inspiration in my life. After playing high school and college football for you, the time knowing and learning from you is ever lasting.

From all the Kappas who loved Tony....he took us all on dates and Thursday night club was the best!

Tony was so valuable to the bluegrass music community. I always felt such support and positive energy from him. He will be sorely missed by so many musicians and lovers of home-grown music.

RIP

Although I never met Tony in person, I felt close to him. In fact, I was thinking of him just the other day, and was going to give a call. Guess I won't need the phone any more. Tony, you will be missed more than you will ever know and I am sure there are many in line to tell you. Keep playing your great music! And remember, you are loved - always and forever.

Tony was a close friend and coach
We stayed intouch until the last year
He was a huge man with a brain and heart to match
I will always remember the day he caught me
Weighing i'n with bar bell weights under my
Towel so I would not embarras the Utah coaching
Stall with my ute program description!
Go Utes!

I worked with Tony at Creekside toward the end of his life, I am grateful to be able to call him a friend
Merrill Enniss, AKA "whistling Merrill"

We had a great run together at IAMA... Farewell Old Man!

Tailgating and Ute football will never be the same again. More than half the fun of going to games was to spend time with Tony. A trip to UNLV for an away game is something I'll never forget. On top of all his other talents Tony gave the best hugs and was a very generous kisser......men like him are rare. God Speed Tony!
