Tony Michael Valverde

So sorry for your lost Judy he a was a great teacher and loved working with his students at Westfield. It was nice working with him. Tessy Hull Westfield.

Tony Valverde and I were not only work colleagues but also friends. Tony and I first met when he was a special education day class teacher at Vandalia Elementary School, where at one point he was instructing and supervising up to 28 students in a setting where he should have had only a maximum of 14 students. When an opening occurred in 1999 as a special education resource specialist at Westfield Elementary School, Tony transferred to that position, again ably serving special needs students....

I worked with Mr. Valverde at Westfield Elementary School, and saw how caring he was towards not only my Kinders, but all the students he saw each day. My thoughts are with his family.

My wife Valerie and I are very sorry to learn of Tony's passing. I played golf with Tony frequently several years ago. Valerie and I looked forward to catching up with Tony and his best friend "Lucky" at the Ponte Vedra YMCA. We pray for Tony's family and offer our deepest sympathies. RIP Greg and Valerie Leininger
