I served my mission in Toronto Canada and was in the same District with Tonya in the summer of 1984. I remember her easy going nature and love of life. She had a great smile and was always fun to be around. She cut my hair a few times while I was there. Terrie, I am very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed knowing both you and Tawnya. You both made riding that Clarkston bus to school everyday more bearable. I loved Tawnya's energy she used to cut my hair and I enjoyed talking to her so much. She will be greatly missed.

This so breaks my heart. Tanya and I were great friends in school. Whenever we got back together it was like old times. I'm going to remember how she was. Full of life, and so dang funny. Tonya was a friend from school and someone I'll never forget. We reconnected on Facebook last year and it brought back many great memories, a high school dance and a visiting Europe with a bunch of fellow classmates. Rest in peace Tonya. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
