Tonya and I met when were 11 years old, in 5th grade, Kalispell, MT. We remained steadfast friends. Sure, over the years there were periods of time when we very rarely as we were busy raising kids, working, etc. But there was never any question about our devotion to each other and knowing we were each there for each other. She was the person I chose to tell about something awful that was happening to me and she didn't hesitate to speak the truth and help me take steps to make it stop. For the...

I've known Tonya over 20 years. During that time we had home fellowship groups at their house. After our church split I reconnected with her about 9 months ago. I can say so much about her but it would take too long. She was definitely a Wonder woman who had a deep passion for life. She fought a good fight and was relentless at overcoming obstacle after obstacle that was...

My deepest sympathies to Tonya's children. She loved them with her entire being. Tonya loved fiercely. At one point in my life she was the closest person to me. She was one of the strongest women I've ever met. Ultimately, she helped give me the strength to leave a life or death situation. She fought cancer so hard and was never afraid. God I love her. I know she's raising hell in heaven. Singing and laughing and taking charge of all of the angels. I'm so glad we told each other that we love...

My crazy wonderful friend asked me years ago to go with her to get a tattoo. Somehow she talked me into getting the same one that day. I´m so sad my tattoo twin has left this earth. The bright sunny days are a little dimmer with her gone. I cherish my memories of Tonya. What a force of nature she was. Until we meet again in heaven
