Towne Robert Abercrombie

I first met Bob when I was employed at Jeep in 1978. If anyone needed to get something repaired Bob was the go to guy. An easy going guy with a big heart. After Bob retired and met Arlene they spent their winters in Punta Gorda, FL where Linda & I have a home. We had good times together and he will be deeply missed. Our deepest condolences to Arlene and Bob´s family.

When "Hey Bob" hired in at Jeep, the plant was on strike for a week, and we worked together in maintenance inspecting oven seals in the 46 bldg paint shop. Bob was a great inspiration to me throughout the many years we worked together. We had a wonderful working relationship and I will always cherish his friendship! He will always be thought of as a very caring man.

I met Bob the first day I started at Jeep. We were both supervisors in the Paint Shop at that time. We were friends ever since. My condolences to the family.

No one could have asked for a better boss/manager than Bob. I worked in Central Maintenance at Jeep for many years. He was always fair, honest and pleasant. My condolences to his family.
