Tracy Lee (Adams) Capasso 1969 - 2021
Colchester - Tracy Lee (Adams) Capasso, 51, of Colchester, beloved wife of Vito Capasso, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Tracy was born in Hartford on July 13, 1969 to Thomas and Susan (Abbot) Adams. Along with being a beloved wife and mother, she was a dedicated volunteer at St. Elisabeth Seton Church especially working with the children's summer program.
Tracy will be remembered for her love of the beach, her creativity, and truly compassionate nature. Besides her husband and soulmate of 35 years, Vito, she is survived by her children, Vito Jr. and his fiancé Jaime, Anthony, Vincent and Giuliana, her fur babies Rosie and Baxter; her mother, Susan, and brother, Dean as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family members. Tracy was predeceased by her father Thomas Adams, and her sister Rebecca Jimenez.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield on Thursday, May 27, from 4 to 6 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish (St. Elizabeth Seton Church 280 Brook St. Rocky Hill) on Friday, May 28, at 11 am. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Tracy's name to Hartford Hospital Cardiac Care Unit 80 Seymour St. Hartford, CT. 06102 or the American Cancer Society 825 Brook ST. I-91 Tech Ctr. Rocky Hill, CT. 06067.
