Trenton Carothers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 10, 2017.
On February 5, 2017 Trenton (Trent) the "Social Butterfly, basketball playing, 7-11 chocolate cake loving, good natured guy" left this earth.

He leaves behind his loving wife Savita V. Carothers, two children Julian Carothers, Trenton D. Carothers and stepdaughter TaKisha West. He is survived by his mother Asariner Carothers, siblings Gene E. Carothers, Dwayne Carothers, and Anthony (Rachel) Carothers of Racine Wisconsin. In addition, seven grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Trenton is preceded in death by his father Sammy Carothers and grandmother Dorothy Turner.

Trent was born on September 6, 1959 in Racine Wisconsin. He was the oldest of four siblings and a graduate from Park High School in Racine. After graduating from High School, Trent joined the Marines and worked as a cook. He was proud to be of his service to his country and never lost the passion to create a spectacular dish.

In addition to cooking, Trent was a car enthusiast and lifelong avid athlete. He played semi-pro football and loved basketball and biking. It was fitting that he spent his career as an Orthopedic Technician, helping those with injuries that he knew all too well. He was the type of person that could get along with anybody and always had something positive to say.

His passing was too sudden for us. If we had our way Trent would be with us forever. Trent, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Son, you had a sense of humor that was out of this world. Your love, kindness and smile will be missed. We love you.
Our hearts will never be the same…never.

I miss you my brother .... although we didnt see each other often we always talked on a regular . Kinda strange not being able to pick up the phone and hear your voice , and knowing I cant call you and ask you for that brotherly advice you've always given me.I often wonder what type of relationship we would of had had you not left Racine at the tender age of 17. Ive always cherised every moment when we did see each other !!! The times you drove from Cali to see me in Vegas meant the World to me !!! Just wish We could of seen each other more and did more together as brothers ..... I miss you Trent and one day I will see you again , I love you my Brotha, Rest Up !!!
