It has been many years my friend. I still think of you. Now that I am retiring I look back at the years we spent together during our surgical training. You were truly a prince with a giant heart.

Darlene,
I find myself thinking of Troy often. Without question, he was one of the most unique individuals I've ever met. Hope all is well with you and the family.

To the Brinkerhoff family, My sentiments echo so many of the kind words people have wrote. Dr Brinkerhoff was a wonderful, kind and truly a gentle man. He always treated his patients well and the nurses well also. When he asked how you were it was because he really cared. He would talk to you and not down to you. If you had a question or concern he would always take the time to answer and talk to you. I admired and respected him very much. I too trusted him to operate on my daughter...

Dear Brinkerhoff Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Brink as I have known him over 20 yrs. from Mesa Lutheran. The man who was your husband and father always treated me to a friendly greeting when he arrived on the floor, and was just a wonderful human being in my opinion. He always asked me how I was doing and seemed genuinely concerned about his patients. I remember one day when I was in charge, there was a pt. needing a surgical consult, and we spent hrs calling 7...

Dr.Brinkerhoff was a wonderful doctor! Along with great bedside manners, doctor Brinkerhoff also listened to the nurses and was conscience about their concerns for their patients to better care for his patients. He took time out to smile, say hi, listen, and respect the nurses at Banner Mesa (Mesa Lutheran) and being a nurse, that means a lot. I worked with Dr. Brinkerhoff for 10 years and even with his tremendous schedules for surgery and post op care he always maintained himself and was...

I had the pleasure of working with "my" Dr Brinkerhoff when I was a CNA at Banner Mesa. What a wonderful gentle teddy bear of a man. Then was blessed to have him, by my own request as my surgeon on several occassions. His bedside manner and skills as a surgeon will be hard to beat. Don't know what I am going to do now if I need a surgeon :). Thank Goodness for our Eternal knowledge. Can't wait to see him again. Know that you,his family, are in my thoughts and prayers . You will be missed...

Dr. Brinkerhoff will be greatly missed for his honest integrity that he provided in caring for his patients. I know that he used his talents that Heavenly Father gave him to help others while showing compassion. This is a rare thing among the medical communicy.
