I have been away for so long and just recently learned about Troy's passing. Troy, from the moment I met him, made me smile. He had the greatest sense of Humor and really made me think. Sometimes, I had to think, "Now why exactly is that funny"? But that was the beauty of Troy's personality, he saw the value in things that most people would just over look. We had some pretty crazy times Troy, Eric and myself... and I will never forget him.

I would just like to thank everyone who shared their thoughts, prayers, and memories. I wish I could tell him that this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, and it is so impossibly hard to let go...Most of you only knew Troy a short time, but I knew Troy his whole life. No one will ever know the sweet & innocent child that has been lost, the way I did. Thank You All, Troy's Mom.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your well wishes and condolences. Troy was my all for six years. I had the great privilege of sharing many memories, laughter, tears and overall I know Troy felt free to be himself around me. He was a very talented FX artist. He loved horror movies. Yet he was the most compassionate friend and lover any girl could ever ask for. I love him more than I can properly dictate with words. Troy would always tell me everyday I was sad or write in...

I knew Troy briefly as a teacher...A collegue and I took a special effects class from him this past winter so we could become more proficient at medical moulage. Please know that his techniques are being used not only to create dramatic film footage but to help emergency medical professionals learn life saving skills. His contribution to our knowledge is making a difference in the lives of others.

It is with deep sorrow that I write today. I just learned of the passing of Troy today and words can not describe how I feel. I met Troy a little over a year ago and only got to know him in the recent months. Troy is a great guy,a gifted artist and will be missed. I will continue to value my friendship with Troy and will always remember him for the shining star that he is. Until we meet again my friend-Derek
