Charlotte, David and Mark,
I just heard the sad news. I'm now reflecting on all the rich history of our friendship dating, as you know, from the sandbox at Fletcher Hall, the grade school pranks and trouble we managed to survive, to the High School days of shared deep snow in the neighborhood, Leech Lake cabin and water skiing, canoeing and hockey experiences. And this only touches the huge memory storehouse of the experiences we shared that I will now be reviving with fondness and...

To-Charlotte, David and Mark,
I was so sorry to hear of Trygg's death. We visited with him with my mother, Ione De Money the last time we were in Minneapolis. We had so many stories to tell. When he was over 2 years old our families lived across the hall from each other in student housing at the U of Minnesota. My mother thought then he would be an excellent athlete and was smart too. I will miss a long time friend as we often talked on the phone over life in the publishing...

Dear Mrs. Hansen, Mark and Dave,
My mother, Ione Edstrom DeMoney met Trygg when he was just about 2 years old. She enjoyed his sense of humor and his skills as an athlete even then. She was delighted to meet up with him again about 10 years ago when we were in Minnesota. I too had the chance to catch up with Trygg as we were childhood friends. I will miss talking to him on the phone as we talked about life, business and today's world. My thoughts are with all of you and your...

Dear Mrs Hansen, Mark and Dave:
Trygg was my room mate for two years, and my closest hockey teammate for all 4 years at St. Olaf. He was a tough, savvy hockey player, our starting center for two years. Not too speedy, but a great stick and quick, accurate shot. He loved the game, and had the respect of all his teammates and opponents alike. As our starting center, more than once he was our go to guy. One thing that we joked about in later years was that he never wanted to wear...

I remember the many winter nights when Trygg, myself and some other boys would walk down to Langford Park to play hockey. Trygg was always a hard worker, motivated, and a great guy. He will be missed! I wish I could have known him better in his later adult years. My sympathies go with all of you who loved him.

David and Karen--
Our deepest condolences. The unexpected loss of a brother must be one of the most difficult burdens imaginable. Trygg was a wonderful person and we will remember his generosity and gentle humor. He was a particular source of stability and strength to Jonathan at the tree farm. May God bless you and Trygg and envelop you and your family in the shadow of his wings.
