Auggie and family, I was sorry to learn of the passing of Twila. What a beautiful person she was. I have wonderful memories with Twila, especially from VFW Post 7900 activities. May her soul rest in eternal peace. May the perpetual light shine upon her.

Twyla was a special cousin and lovely lady. She was kind and had a soft voice that made everyone feel her love.

TO the Broockerd family--Paul and I wish we could be there for the service--we miss being closer when events like this happen. Please know we are there with you in spirit. Twila was a gracious lady with a beautiful giving spirit. I will always remember her laugh and feel so blessed to have been on the skiing trip that her, Aug,and Hank and Marg accompanied us on--we never ate so well while skiing as that trip!! Thank you for sharing her with us, we will miss her.

Over the last couple of days I have sat back and remembered a number of great memories of Aunt Twila. I don't have enough space or time to write them all. Many have brought a smile and a couple a giggle. If you were around this woman for any amount of time you would notice the gleam in her eye and her sharp sense of humor. She was a great person and will be remembered for all that she did for those around her. The world is a little less bright.

Ditto Mike Soetaert's memories! Our thoughts exactly! As an inlaw to the Soetaert family, I immediately was attracted to Twila's welcoming smile, soft spoken voice, sense of humor, and those "knowing eyes." The Tom Soetaert family always love it when Twila, Aug , Hank and Margaret would come to visit us in the later years.

Great memories of Twila and her sense of humor and kindness.. The Hank & Margaret Soetaert kids loved having the Broockerd family in our lives. Personally, I will never forget trying to avoid the infamous "dish cloth face washing" that Twila always tricked us with. She left a great legacy in her wonderful family. An honor to have been in her life.
