What a beautiful memorial. I´m heartbroken by this tragic loss to Ty´s family and friends. Although I never had the opportunity to meet him, Tyler was obviously a kind soul who brought a lot of joy to those he touched.

I didn't know Tyler but I do appreciate the beautiful obituary you have written in honor of the life he struggled to lead. You are correct; he was not his addiction, but rather an accomplished and loving human being. I am so sorry for your loss. Your honesty and message to others who struggle is most valuable. My deepest sympathies to Tyler's family.

Tyler, you were one in a million students! I was and am, still SO proud of you and your drive to be the best. We all have our demons. We all have hurdles to get over and now, beautiful Tyler, you have crossed the biggest hurdle and are free. There is a new hole in my heart with your absence and my only regret is that I couldn't have tasted your fine craft as you grew into the great chef you were. Cheers to you Tyler and here's to your next adventure!
