Tyler,
I am so proud of you! You are a fighter , all your life , with a smile on your face you took everyday to the upmost. I remember waiting outside of CHOP with Nana and grandpa , and Matt when we were 6, just to get a wave out the window . Every memory I have you are in it .all our fishing adventures were epic . I am deeply saddened over this news. Ty was like a little brother to me when I hung out with his sister Jen. Hoping the Long family can find a way to work through this grief.

Worked with Tyler many moons ago at the Times News, showed me the ropes, wjat a great guy, he will surely be missed by all. RIP Tyler

The news of Ty’s passing hurts deeply and all of the wonderful memories of him have all come flooding back. Ty was the closest thing I ever had to an older brother. As a kid I remember thinking he was the coolest guy on the face of the earth and I know I drove him crazy because of it. I’ll never forget his patience with me and his infectious laugh. He was truly one of a kind. The majority of my fondest childhood memories are filled with time with Ty and my Dad. He was a gift to this...

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was heartbroken when I heard the news of Tyler’s passing. I will miss him on our yearly vacations to Rehoboth. Tyler was always so patient and kind to my girls and nephews when he would get back from fishing and they would crowd around him to see what he caught and watch him filet whatever the catch of the day was. I will miss joking with him about coming down and sitting on the beach with me and my mom from 9-5 every day. I hope you’re fishing in paradise Tyler. You will be missed ❤

The news of Ty’s passing saddening me deeply. He was a very sweet and kind person. I will never forget my memories of him. My deepest condolences to Ty’s entire family.
