Tyler,
I am so proud of you! You are a fighter , all your life , with a smile on your face you took everyday to the upmost. I remember waiting outside of CHOP with Nana and grandpa , and Matt when we were 6, just to get a wave out the window . Every memory I have you are in it .all our fishing adventures were epic . I will never forget the trip with captain Ricky when I asked you where is everyone else? And you told me (I get it) . Fish on my cousin , and my best friend, my brother I love you.... Andrew

I am deeply saddened over this news. Ty was like a little brother to me when I hung out with his sister Jen. Hoping the Long family can find a way to work through this grief.

The news of Ty’s passing hurts deeply and all of the wonderful memories of him have all come flooding back. Ty was the closest thing I ever had to an older brother. As a kid I remember thinking he was the coolest guy on the face of the earth and I know I drove him crazy because of it. I’ll never forget his patience with me and his infectious laugh. He was truly one of a kind. The majority of my fondest childhood memories are filled with time with Ty and my Dad. He was a gift to this earth and especially my life. He was the best. I’ll always cherish my good fortune in knowing him. I can only imagine how many other lives he touched. I know Heaven has a new best fisherman. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest easy Ty.

I was heartbroken when I heard the news of Tyler’s passing. I will miss him on our yearly vacations to Rehoboth. Tyler was always so patient and kind to my girls and nephews when he would get back from fishing and they would crowd around him to see what he caught and watch him filet whatever the catch of the day was. I will miss joking with him about coming down and sitting on the beach with me and my mom from 9-5 every day. I hope you’re fishing in paradise Tyler. You will be missed ❤

I am so sorry and was deeply saddened to hear of Tyler's passing. He was an occasional fishing buddy, but more importantly a fantastic friend for more than 25 years. Some of my fondest memories still to this day are of some holiday weekends spent in Rehoboth with him and other friends, or watching Eagle and Flyer games when we had the chance to get together. Tyler was one of the kindest, most generous, and hilarious people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be sorely missed by many friends for a very long time.
My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace my friend.
