Tyrone Bert Rustin

Tyrone Bert "Ty" Rustin (48) died in Spokane, Washington's Sacred Heart Hospital Monday evening, October 12th, 2015. Born in Yakima, Washington August 14, 1967 to Tyrone & Linda Thelen Rustin, Ty attended West Valley High School in Yakima where he played for the West Valley Rams Football Team and enjoyed working in Mechanic Shop. A member of West Valley High's 1986 graduating class, Ty went on to attend J.M. Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, WA. Ty retired as Manager of the Tire Shop in Costco's flagship Central Seattle, Washington Store after twenty years. A former member of the USABA (U.S. Amateur Boxing Association), the National Rifle Association, Ty's greatest love was traveling the world, having placed both of his feet on each of Earth's continent.

Predeceased by his dad: Tyrone Rustin and grandparents: Norbert and Hattie Thelen; Ty is survived by his son: Alex Nelson; mother: Linda Thelen and lifelong friends: Paul Kelley and Mark Donahue.

Ty desired to help others even in his death, so as a registered tissue donor persons who never met Ty will be able to experience life to a greater measure.

A memorial celebration of Ty's life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday October 24th, 2015 at 413 Midway Avenue, Grand Coulee, WA 99133. At Ty's request, cremation has taken place.
