He was the first "stranger" I met in Clarksdale when we moved from Vicksburg and I decided to try out Clarksdale pneumonia. He always slappep my "upu know" before the shot. It helped! Bobby Lowe

Babs, Bubba and Family please accept our prayers and thoughts concerning the passing of your DAD. He was the greatest of the great and I can remember him coming to our house at 640 Lynn to make house calls. God bless and he is now at Peace.

Babs and family, my condolences on your father's passing. When I told my father the news, he cried on the phone and said he never had a better friend in the world. He remembers when Dr. Burnham rented a room from his uncle in Vaiden after WW2. And I remember all those times that he responded so competently whenever my brothers or I had an illness or injury. We're all better for having known him. --Gene Holmes

No one will ever know the exact number of people Dr. B. helped, both in his office, at the hopsital, in the military, or by association! He was extraordinary in every way. How much he will be missed! What a hero! My heartfelt sympathy to all of his family!

We pray that God will grant you peace and understanding as you go through the coming days. May you continue to be blessed by the love and caring thoughts shared by so many from Clarksdale and beyond whose...
