Dear Babs, Bubba and family. God Bless you all as you remember a great man loved by all of hid friends ad patients. He was the first "stranger" I met in Clarksdale when we moved from Vicksburg and I decided to try out Clarksdale pneumonia. He always slappep my "upu know" before the shot. It helped! Bobby Lowe

Babs,Bubba,Conner and Family I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He will be missed very much. He was a very special man, I'll always hold a special place in my heart for him and you Babs both of you always made me feel so special & Welcome when my Momma would bring me to the office or I'd come and stay after school. He used to let me do little things to help out which made me feel sooo big, He would tell me how much I helped him out (cleaning his arrow heads) he had a way about him that just made you feel good. I've always kinda felt like extended family. Just know I would be there if there was any way, however my thoughts and prayer are with you all.

Babs and family, my condolences on your father's passing. When I told my father the news, he cried on the phone and said he never had a better friend in the world. He remembers when Dr. Burnham rented a room from his uncle in Vaiden after WW2. And I remember all those times that he responded so competently whenever my brothers or I had an illness or injury. We're all better for having known him. --Gene Holmes

No one will ever know the exact number of people Dr. B. helped, both in his office, at the hopsital, in the military, or by association! He was extraordinary in every way. How much he will be missed! What a hero! My heartfelt sympathy to all of his family!

Babs and family,
We would like to extend our prayers to you and yours as you celebrate the life of your daddy. He was an awesome man who leaves a legacy to many throughout the south whose lives were touched by his dedication to his profession. Our family loved him as many did. We pray that God will grant you peace and understanding as you go through the coming days. May you continue to be blessed by the love and caring thoughts shared by so many from Clarksdale and beyond whose lives were also touched by such an awesome man.
Much love to you all,
Brenda and Lynn Butler
