Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Jakie Mathews:

As a former team mate on Howard U. baseball team and a long time co-worker with the DC Dept. of Rec. of Jakie's, I too share in your loss. Jakie was a one of a kind person. Always pleasant and ready to help in any way that he could. He was a true team player, both in sports and at work. As you do your grief work, always remember: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He...

Carolyn,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Kellie, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know exactly what you are going through right now and I share in the pain of your loss. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength in this time of need. God will bring you through this as he has done before. Let your wonderful memories of Jakey be the light that leads you to peace.

Love, Birdie

Dear Carolyn,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It's been many years since I've seen your family, but I remember your your family well. To help you remember me, I'm daughter to Annice and Addison Graves, and cousin to Shirley Fletcher Young, and Errainier Carter. May God bless and keep your family healthy and safe. Again, my deepest sympathy as you grieve for the loss of your loved one.
Sincerely, judy

For years I rode my bike in front of Mr. Mathews' house and played in the alley behind it. As an adult, I often ran into Mr. Mathews downtown and he remembered me and my family (Williams) from all those years ago. He was a kind man who will be missed. My prayers go out to the family.

Dear Carolyn, Kellie and Family,

May God's abundant love bring you much comfort and peace during this time and years to come. My prayers are with you.
God Bless you.
