I started working at cottage grove three years ago shortly after I turned 15 and Veda was the first resident I served and since that day I have always had a special place in my heart for her. She would always get an ice tea and loved to talk to me about her family. When covid started it was hard on all the residents because they needed to stay in their rooms for the safety of them and everyone else and that was hard on every resident but it was harder on Veda because she enjoyed the company...
