Veena is there in our thoughts every day and on all occasions. She is a source of strength and joy and remains a mentor in times of need with just a thought of her bringing calm and serenity no matter how challenging the moment.

A woman of utter strength and determination, while at the same time compassionate, loving and welcoming. I was fortunate to work with her at Elkins Park Library for many years, and thus be introduced into the most amazing and loving family ever---the one she built with her loving husband. She imparted a lot of wisdom to me at a time when I needed it most. I will never forget this wonderful woman. Much love to her family.

Veena will remain for me a symbol of strength. Our moments together will continue to bring joy. Her example will nourish our thoughts, our actions and our family. The Elkins Park library, Getty and Montgomery Avenue will forever linger with her memories and her presence!
