You are now gone from us for a year and this shrine evolved as a spontaneous collaboration created by us. We know, you would be tickled pink as our Grandsons (4 and 6)...

Ms. Velma was a beautiful light and wonderful friend at Linden Place. She was so warm and welcoming to our family when we moved there in 2018. By then she and my late MIL, Mildred Nash had become great Bible Study friends. I am in awe of her life and accomplishments. They are together again, praising the Lord, up front in Heaven. May she Rest In Peace.

Velm--we sent Queen Elizabeth up there to help you run the place. The two of you will shape things up in no time. Love and miss you with all my heart.

We met Velma B Saire some 50 years ago in a Los Angeles Church where she was the Director of Christian education, with our leading bond being we grew up in Pittsburgh. Nevertheless, we immediately enjoyed her sense of humor, and made fast, simply amazing friends, for fifty years, despite abundant moves between us in different directions all over the country, we became lifelong friends.
