Vera and James Gray were great friends and neighbors to my parents. Mrs. Gray loved everyone as a mother, even when we seemed hard to love. We children of the Salu neighborhood felt her blessings every day, and all of us hold her light in our hearts. May her family find comfort in the grace Mrs. Gray exhibited so freely, and so lovingly. You remain in my heart, and thoughts, in this time of need.

R.I.P. Vera...you were truly an angel here on earth. After retiring. you was here for all you could do for others. Your wings were invisible here on earth, but now you will spread them proudly. Love you
