Mrs. Vera M. Thompson was the "consummate" educator. I witnessed this characteristic in her when I did my student teaching at Alabama State Laboratory High School in 1962. Vera was always proactive in her work. Without a doubt she contributed greatly to my ability to teach French. I proudly observed her progress in her career to become an extraordinary school administrator. I wish the best for her family. Long live her legacy of love of family and education.

Mrs. Thompson was my teacher in the 1979- 1980 school year .she was a great principal for my children and grandchildren . wonderful teacher , a true lady of faith . she will be truly missed .
