A very merry Christmas to you thinking about you always say hello to my dad and catch him up on what's been happened he was probably excited to see you again your daughters are strong and Marilyn is even stronger you have made it so they will be safe and happy thank you love you bunches

I was in my teens when I first met Verlane in Minot, North Dakota (on his relation's farm). I had the privilege of seeing him again a few times in the past 15 years... he never changed. Always a friend and he remembered those special moments that made me laugh, as if it was yesterday. Our condolences to his family. He was a great man.

He will be missed. The world is already a much smaller place without him. There are no words that can take away the pain of his loss, but all of us can rejoice in a life fully lived and laugh in our memories of a wonderful character we have all been privileged to know.

My condolences to all of Verlane's family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
