Dearest Dempseys,
Thinking of you all at this time of Thanksgiving. I'm sure you all missed Bud's quiet presence and his Thanksgiving blessing, but hopefully you also could feel thankful for the many years you had him and the warmth of those memories.
After his passing I said a silent prayer to my mother and told her to set another place at the table. I have little doubt that there was a heavenly Thanksgiving of Green Hill folks going on so Bud is in good company.
