He will always be Mr. Redman to me. He was the ultimate father. He and Mrs.
Redman raised three of the finest individuals period. (of course I'm partial to Jason) I never noticed Mr. Redman to boast. He made you feel comfortable in his presence. He had so much influence on not only his family but anyone who was fortunate enough to share any time with him. He and his wife always carried themselves with dignity and class. Vernon Redman's time on earth was well spent and what an accomplishment of an incredible legacy he leaves behind.

I´m so sorry to hear of your dad´s passing. Vernon was always a good friend and colleague when we taught together at Andrew Jackson. He was a great teacher who inspired his students. He could always make me laugh when things got too serious. Prayers for all of you as you grieve. I know he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to all of Vernon´s family and friends. Vernon was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. A great teacher and mentor to students. A loving father, husband, grandfather. I will always remember him fondly.

I am out of town and sad that I cannot be at Vernon's celebration of life. I worked with Vernon at Andrew Jackson Jr./Middle School. Vernon was the best kind of person to work with and have as a friend. He loved his family, helping kids become the best they could be, and running outdoors. He was a top-notch teacher and caring colleague. I will forever miss his kindness to everyone and seeing him at the starting line and finish line (he was way ahead of me) at the Charleston Run. My condolences to his exceptional children and grandchildren.
