Victor George Badding

For some reason this morning I starting thinking about my chemistry teacher in 1965 when I was a freshman at Manhattan College. It was Dr. Victor Badding. I found a great picture of him, but unfortunately it was in an (this) obituary. I am glad that he almost reached the age of 90. My freshman year may have been his first year of teaching, after getting his PhD. He was a wonderful person...as I think that picture portrays...and helped me to build my confidence as an unsure freshman. I...

I'm very sorry to hear of Vic's passing. I worked with him at Manhattan College for many years. As a young professor (back then), he was always trying to help, and was kind and generous with his advice and sharing his experience. He was a good man and we have missed him.

I am so saddened to hear of Vic Bedding´s passing. Vic was one of my kindest and friendliest colleagues at Manhattan University. I still vividly remember that when I came to MU more than 30 years ago to interview for a teaching position at Chemistry Department, he kindly took me on a campus tour. After I was hired, Vic continued to be a generous colleague, always willing to help and offer advice. I will remember him forever. May Vic rest in peace.
