Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened by the news. A mass will be said at St. Ambrose on Sunday, June 1, 10:30 a.m.

Nancy and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I can't image how difficult this is. May God wrap his arms tightly around your family to give you strength. Praying for you all!

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I didn't know him, but as the mother of a learning disabled son, I was very moved by what others have written here. I know he must have been a wonderful person.

My thoughts are with Nancy and the children, and with Bruce and Patricia. Peace to all.

Victor and I worked together at York Place(as school district employees) from the time he came until I retired in 2007. The first thing I told him was "you can't save them all,but do the best you can for them while they are here" Later, I substitued there and always talked to Victor. If the day had been hard, he would say to me " a wise old lady once told me...."I will miss him.

I had the honor of sitting in on a few of Mr. Barbieri's classes at York Place. The more I listened to him teach the more I realized that he was a wonderful and strong teacher who looked beyond the children's disabilities and encouraged them to reach their full potential. Mr. Barbieri will be greatly missed!

Our prayers are with you and your family.

Mama says she loves you!

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Mr.Victor John Barbieri was my teacher at YCHS. He taught me how to live my life the right way. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't be the same type of person that am. And we had bad times but. I am very happy to say that he did a lot for me and others in this world. R.I.P Victor John Barbieri
