Not sure what to say?

To: The Rollins Family

It was just told to me yesterday about the loss of your son, brother and husband. I’m overseas serving in Iraq, when I was told of Victor’s passing, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I met Victors about 20 years ago through one of his closes friend and co-worker David Driggers, at 30 Engine. Vic was a wonderful, caring person and friend. One of the things I remember about Vic, was when I started having problems with Asthma. If Victor’s shift was working on that...

Mrs. Rollins,

We are so sorry for your loss. I know this is really hard. Antione and I lost our loved one just a few days before. So we understand the pain and know that only God and time will heal and comfort. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers always.

Vic,

I just want to finish what I have to say to you. I haven’t been able to get much sleep since I learned of your passing, the memories run deep. All I can think of is the times we spent together in our youth and the wife and babies that you leave behind. I know that your wife is a good woman even though I’ve never met her. She has to be, to have put up with a brother like you (smile) because you and I had been through some things and yet we both found women who loved us. I have...

To my sister in the Lord Inez,
I was so sadden to hear just today that your son Victor had gone on to be with the Lord. Know that we have you in our prayers. Only God is the healer of our deepest hurts.

To The Rollins Family:

My prayers are with you at this trying time. Your loved one; Vic and I were classmates at Rabaut Jr, High and then Coolidge High Schools. We played ball together, cards together and took classes together. As Duarte mentioned in his posting; I was looking forward to our 30th reunion with fellow classmates. Vic, you will always be one of us and I will always remember you. Thanks for the good times and being a good friend.

Much Love!

Mrs. Rollins!
I've known you and Mr. Rollins for over 3 yrs. I will always remember him during FOOTBALL season. I know he would want Dallas to win. LOL!

On a much serious note: May God continue to bless you and your children in your time of need. If there's anything I can do, please just call/email me and we'll be there for you!

The Lord is MY shepard! Psalms 23.

Dear Mrs. Rollins,
Olivia came home one day and said Ma, Mrs. Rollins husband is sick. I ask what was wrong and she explain. From that day on I always ask about you and your children. When I heard the news this weekend, I was sadden as if I knew your family personally. No more suffering and pain. He is at peace.
