SO SORRY TO HEAR OF MR. DISCALA'S PASSING! YOUR FAMILY WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERS.
IN SYMPATHY

WILLARD & STEVE WILLARD

Virginia,I was very sorry to read
of your husband's passing. May the memories of the good times you shared bring you comfort during this this difficult time.

"Uncle Vinny". My fav uncle of all times! I'm so glad I got to see him again 2 xmas eve ago on a visit. I recall as a kid, the 'look' he'd give me as a kid when he said "how can your back tires be worn out completely when the front ones are like new"? I'd shrug my shoulders as a young teen "defective?"lol. It was like explaining to my dad. You're in great hands now with the Lord, my prayers are with the family. RIP

We will miss you.
Dominic

MY DEEPEST AND DEAREST SYMPATHIES TO THE DISCALA FAMILY.
I'VE ALWAYS LOOKED UPON AND CONSIDERED VINNIE TO BE A GREAT UNCLE TO ME. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS CHARM, WITTY -WONDERFUL SENSE OF HUMOR, HIS PASSION FOR THE LADY HUSKIES AND NY YANKEES, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE DEVOTION AND LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY. GOD BLESS YOU VINNIE

So sad to hear this news....Vinnie was a close associate of mine during our Firestone days....a great store manager, always with good ideas and advise....even during our later years via email..may he rest in peace.

Vin was a true icon and beloved member of his Firestone family. Moreover his home was always welcoming and his friendship thru the years has been a treasure to me.Our conversations were full of wit and wisdom. Rest in peace my friend. Miss you dearly.

MAY GOD BLESS THE DISCALA FAMILY IN THIS TIME OF LOSS . I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW MANY THINGS I LEARNED FROM VINNIE AS A YOUNG EMPLOYEE STARTING IN 1969 AT BRIDGEPORT FIRESTONE STORE 300 JOHN ST .MOST OF ALL VINNIE WAS A TRUE FAMILY GUY AND WAS A GOOD CHRISTIAN MAN WHO LOVED HIS LORD AND TREASURED HIS FAMILY .. THANK YOU VINNIE FOR ALL I LEARNED AND AT THE SAME TIME BEING A FRIEND .
