I know Vinny From Costco ,when My Dawn would Hobble in with bad hip and Knees Vinny would always ask if she was alright in his friendly way . I Miss his Happy Face at the door and think of him every time I am there , He was good people Sorry for your loss.

My Condolences To Stephanie and Family. I just found out about my friends passing. We worked together in PS. 26. I am deeply saddened to hear of Vinny´s passing. I have such fond memories of Vinny. May he continue to sleep in Heavenly Peace!

It has been more than 50 years since I saw Vinnie. But, from the comments, I knew that he was unforgettable. We played Pel Pkwy Little League baseball ( Pirates) together at the age of 12. Vinnie was one of our best. Fastest man in the league. But nothing was brighter than his attitude or his smile. Rest assured, I never forgot you old friend.

Growing up in the Projects I got to know Vinny as I played many a football, basketball and softball game with and against him in the CCHS schoolyard. He was like an added coach on the field and pushed me to use my speed to my advantage! I lost track with Vinny after the CCHS schoolyard was renovated and I went off to college but I never forgot the Big Guy! May he RIP knowing all the people he touched in the most positive way!

I miss Vinnie and think of him often. After watching a good basketball game I wish I could text him and then meet at B&N to get his knowledgeable opinion about it. RIP, my friend.

However, one thing I know as a minister that when he got to heaven, God gave him the greeting of the universe, "Well...

Amazing athlete even better person RIP VJ

Just found out August 2020. Vinny was a wonderful human being, an exceptional athletic talent and always competitive in any sport. Had the pleasure of playing many, many Columbus High weekend basketball and touch football games with Vinny and the crew there in the 80s. These are cherished memories. RIP brother.
