Sunday was a year since Dad passed. It's still hard to believe.

I just wanted to post the lovely poem Philip wrote and sent with Dad.

"Loving Grandpop kind and true I hope to send these wishes with you. That angels guide you to heaven above gliding peaceful as a dove."

thank you to everyone.it has been a rough year but the great memories of my dad will last a lifetime.thanks to the old olney crew we all have such great stories from the good old days and i will use every opportunity to pass them on. God bless!

HELENA'S WITH YOUR DAD,HE WAS ONE OF THE SMARTEST GUYS IN THE ROOM WITHOUT EVEN OPENING A BOOK.WE HAD A GREAT CHILDHOOD GROWING UP IN OLNEY.AFTER SCHOOL WE ALL SERVED OUR COUNTRY DURING THE KOREAN CONFLICT. YOUR DAD WAS AN INTELLIGENCE AGENT FOR THE ARMY STATIONED IN TOKYO JAPAN.I HELPED YOUR DAD LAY THE TILE IN YOUR BASEMENT IN YOUR FIRST HOME IN ROSLYN..WE SPENT ALOT OF GREAT TIMES IN WILDWOOD WITH OUR OLNEY BUDDIES AND DRANK A FEW BEERS...

To the family of Vince
I grew up in Olney and went to the public elem
and high school but belonged to the same Catholic Church as Vince.
Both our fathers were Phila policemen.
We were both caddies at Ashbourne CC at the same time.
Our close Olney Crowd had seven reunions from 1996-2005 around the US,
The first one was in Yankton in 1996 where we live during our Riverboat Days and Vince and one of the other couples stayed at our house.
