Violet Myers May 8, 1931 - Nov. 29, 2014 Resident of Brentwood Violet Rae Myers passed away on Saturday morning surrounded by her family. Violet was born in Colorado and made California her home as a child. She graduated from Liberty Union High School in 1950. Violet met her husband, Maurice Myers, and settled in Brentwood to raise three sons. She worked for Bank of America for 20 years. Violet was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Maury. She is survived by her three sons: Ron Myers of Brentwood, John Myers of Hayden, Idaho, and Doug Myers of Humble, Texas, as well as 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren (not counting the two on the way). Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Brentwood Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Neighborhood Church, located at 50 Birch St. in Brentwood. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Brentwood.
