Not sure what to say?

Virgil was a wonderful man and a very important part of my life. My dad was great friends with Virgil and was in my life from the time I was born until his passing in 2009 . Today was a special day as I´ve ventured back up on powderhorn Mountain for the first time in 44 years and I was able to visit Chuck´s gravesite. I recently had a dream of Virgil and the church on PowderHorn mountain. That dream lead me and my family there today and was such a special time of remembering Chuck and all...

My parents had admired and respected Virgil throughout the years and though they preceded him in death, I would like to offer their condolences as well as mine for your loss. God Bless.

I worked with Virgil at RJR and was sad to read of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Sue,
Words are hard to find at this time. I was in Durant with Mother and Daddy ( Aunt Virginia and Uncle Arthur) when we received the news of Virgil. Daddy of course is heartbroken and has told me many Virgil stories in the last few days. I remember him as the very dashing older cousin with the incredible vocabulary. Dear Sue;
Virgil will be greatly missed. He was a wonder person. I am so sad to hear of his death. I hope to talk to you soon.

Sue: Eb Peters just called me about Virgil. Bev and I want to express our sympathies for your loss. Virgil had been a good friend while I was in the Senate and our association with the NCTA. He will be missed by many for his work for North Carolina.

I am so sorry about Virgil. He was a friend of mine through school I share with you in this saddness and will keep you in my thought and prayers. Saranell Dickerson Durant, Ms.

Sue, so sorry about your loss of Virgil. May your friends and family be of comfort during this very sad time. As you know, he never met a stranger, assisted the lives of many and was loved by a lot of folks. We will all miss him and especially his golfing buddy.
