Virgil Lavell McBride

Virgil was a wonderful man and a very important part of my life. My dad was great friends with Virgil and was in my life from the time I was born until his passing in 2009 . Today was a special day as I´ve ventured back up on powderhorn Mountain for the first time in 44 years and I was able to visit Chuck´s gravesite. I worked with Virgil at RJR and was sad to read of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Words are hard to find at this time. I was in Durant with Mother and Daddy ( Aunt Virginia and Uncle Arthur) when we received the news of Virgil. Daddy of course is heartbroken and has told me many Virgil stories in the last few days. I remember him as the very dashing older cousin with the incredible vocabulary.
