Not sure what to say?

Dear Joe & Kit.

My sympathy to all the family & friends in the loss of our beloved "Ginny". My memories of her go back 55-60 years ago when she was married to handsome Kermit Hale.

May her wonderful memories & sweet smile sustain all of you -- forever.

During this sad time, you will be in my thoughts & prayers.

Dear Kit and Joe,
I know it's been many years since we were neighbors, but they were some of the best of my life. Ginny and my mother (Mary Lee Ward) were best friends and chaperoned my senior high school trip to our beach house. She was more of a friend than a chaperone. Ginny said something that I will never forget, and I tell it to folks all the time. It was about 11 AM and she asked mom if she wanted a Bloody Mary. Mom's reply was "Ginny, it's not anywhere close to 5 o'clock!" and...

To Mr. Kit Hale. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during the loss of your mother. I will never forget your kindness towards my mother and our family home. May God continue to give you peace and joy.

When I think of Aunt Ginny, I always remember her wonderful sense of humor and genuine laughter. It's been many years since I've seen Ginny, but she will always live on in my heart.

We have been very blessed to have Ginny as an adored and cherished member of our family. She was generous, fearless and loved her family immeasurably with the same enthusiasm in which she lived every day. Ginny set a wonderful example to each of us by living her life with pure gusto. What an extraordinary gift to those of us who love her!

Cheers to "my Ginny": your home in my heart is for now and for always.
